Chokali Humanitarian Foundation provides free or subsidized cleft lip and palate surgeries to children and adults across Nigeria. We have successfully restored smiles and transformed lives in states such as Kano, Kaduna, Gombe, and Borno States. Our services go beyond surgery to include post-operative care, speech therapy, and nutritional support. We also conduct community outreach and advocacy to reduce stigma and ensure families can access quality, timely cleft care
In addition to medical care, we provide critical humanitarian relief to communities facing hunger, poverty, and emergencies. Our relief programs have reached over 14 states, including impactful distributions in areas like Ungogo LGA, Kano State. We supply food, hygiene kits, and basic necessities to vulnerable individuals and families. Through local partnerships and private sector support, we ensure that aid is fast, effective, and delivered with dignity.

To build a world where no one suffers from preventable conditions or humanitarian hardship. We envision communities where every individual—regardless of background—has access to quality healthcare, life-changing cleft surgeries, and essential relief, enabling them to smile with confidence, live with dignity, and reach their full potential. Through strategic partnerships, compassion, and advocacy, we aim to transform lives and strengthen systems for a healthier, more inclusive society.
CHF conducted a cleft advocacy and awareness programme in Jigawa State to educate communities about cleft lip and palate conditions. The outreach focused on dispelling myths, reducing stigma, and informing families about the availability of free surgical treatment and support services. Community leaders, health workers, and caregivers were engaged to help identify and refer affected individuals. This initiative is part of our commitment to ensuring early intervention and equitable access to cleft care across northern Nigeria.
